Week Twenty-Five and the Beginning of Christmas Break!

Well today was the last day of work before break begins. Luckily today was a light day for me with only five classes (that are well behaved) and plenty of prep time. I used my prep time to take down and pack up the sound equipment from the stage and take down all my decorations that broke fire code by being on top of a cabinet or hanging within 18" from the ceiling. I started to find places and hang some of the things back up, but I need a lot more 3-M hooks for that.

When the students were gone, we still had to stay for another hour. It is usually professional development time, but today we were allowed to work in our rooms. I helped the art teacher out with some things she needed to learn how to do and talked with her. There is a teacher having a wine tasting party the weekend before school is back in session. She was walking around and seeing who was going. Even though I don't drink at all, I do like the people I work with and could use some friends that live closer. The art teacher and I decided to go. So I have that to look forward to at the end of the break.

I haven't really done much as of yet at home, but my plan is to do a little cleaning before I go to bed tonight.

Dinner: grilled chicken, green beans, roll

Exercise: I did get some exercise at work with all the moving around I was doing. I do plan on trying to do a little something after I get done blogging.
