Week Twenty-Six, Days Three, Four, and Determination

Day Three

Well, yesterday I got some things done but didn't eat the best. It was the first day that I felt like I could eat normally without stomach pains or getting sick. I went too far with it though and didn't eat healthy food. I ate muffins and cookies that I had leftover from when I was sick. I also had pizza and bread sticks. I did manage to get a few things done though like getting a few things at after Christmas sales, getting the laundry room almost clean and organized again,

Day Four

Today was somewhat better in the eating department and somewhat less than yesterday in the getting something done department. The first half of the day I didn't eat well, but I had a better dinner and snack. This morning I had a muffin, chocolate candy, and a bean burrito for lunch. I had Subway for dinner and some whole wheat waffles with sugar free syrup as a snack. I did manage to teach a piano lesson, take down a bulletin board, put up fabric on another bulletin board, get some supplies from the teacher store, and find a french memo board and dry erase board for my home office. The big thing that sucked up time was getting my temporary crown reattached- again! It fell off while I was eating the chocolate this morning. I was lucky that the dentist could fit me in today and made me a new one. Here is to the new one lasting until the 12th when I get my real crown!

Weight loss thoughts...

The last time I was sick and ate off plan, it took weeks to get back on plan and finally lose some weight. I don't plan on that happening this time. I was one pound away from my goal and okay with that. I haven't weighed myself in a few days, so I don't know how much I gained yet from the day and a half of bad eating plus the few days of being sick and just plain eating off plan. I am determined to get to 190 and soon! I've worked too hard on being good most of the holidays to let it go now. Even though tomorrow is Friday and there is another holiday this weekend, I WILL get myself back on track with eating and getting some kind of exercise. I'm not waiting for the new year to get back to it. I know it is only a few days, but a few days and the right mentality can make a difference.
