Thirty Pounds Down!

I officially lost 30 pounds today! I was so happy this morning that as soon as I was off of the scale I did a little happy dance. The scale said 189.9 pounds. I haven't been in the 180's since I first started working at my current job back in 2008. When I got dressed, I had to take some new pictures.

I also got to open my reward of a new Singstar game. I had to get the microphones too, because I didn't have any and you can't use ones from any other game with this game. I ended up buying Singstar Rocks.

The afternoon was spent finishing up some paperwork for work and writing a few lesson plans. I also took about 40 minutes to start trying on clothes in my closet to see if things were getting a bit too big. I found that many things are just slightly too big, but still wearable at this point. I'm pulling those items out of my closet, but I won't give them away yet. Usually when I do this, I don't end up missing the clothes at all!

The evening was spent going out to eat dinner and going to see a movie. Since I had already eaten dinner by the time we went out, I just ordered a salad and soup. I did end up eating a dinner roll and a few bites of jello which was unplanned. I just skipped my snack to make up for it a bit. We went to an old theater in a smaller town nearby. It had a nice atmosphere. They played oldies and classic rock music before the show, not half an hour of commercials and annoying new music. Plus there were only ten minutes of previews! We (my husband, father-in-law, and I) saw the movie Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. I loved reading Sherlock Holmes stories back in junior high. I enjoyed the movie and would recommend it.
