Meals and Deals

I'm happy to say that I woke up to some weight loss this morning after only one day of eating less than I was. I'm still not completely on plan, but doing much, much better. I'm over my strep, but my throat is slightly sore again and I am still really tired. I'm guessing allergies.

This weekend I did manage to find a few things on clearance or sale. All these earrings were only $1 a pair.

I also found a buy one, get one free sale at Dollar General. I know it sounds weird to buy clothes there, but I often times find cute things there.

Since it is supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow, I think I might wear one of these to work.
I decided not to push the cooking thing since I haven't been into it lately. I'm sick of eating out the same few things as well. I've been having oatmeal, a fruit strip, and some Chobani yogurt for breakfast.

I got some "adult" lunchables (the healthier ones without sugary drinks, dessert) for lunches.

I had the turkey wrap one today and it was pretty good. These things are not too high in calories, but they are high in sodium.

It has been all about the microwave for dinner.

Smart Ones mini burgers and cheesy broccoli from Green Giant.

I also haven't felt like baking a sweet treat (surprise!), so I found some Skinny Cow ice cream for my treat of the day. The one pictured here is cookies and cream truffle. They are only 11o calories! Yummy...

I found a great deal on Progresso soup today 10 for $10. I stocked up for future easy meals.

As for exercise... Well, this is my last day on my antibiotic, so I'll try to start again tomorrow. I'm on levaquin which can cause tendinitis (usually in those 60 or older, but better to be safe than sorry). I do plan on doing a few chores around the house tonight, so that is some extra movement.

And to finish this picture heavy post, a random shot of my youngest doxie, Benjamin, sitting all cute in the what I call "Lilly" pose (since my middle dog Lilly sits this way a lot). Benji hasn't really done this yet until two days ago.
