Shopping with a Friend

Five days into my 30 goal of losing 4-8 pounds, and I officially hit the 4 pound mark today! I hope I can keep this rate of loss up. Two more pounds and I'll be back to where I was before- 187. I have a new dachshund car magnet that has been sitting around, so I'll trade one of my old ones with the new one for reaching just over 30 pounds down.... again.

Here is my outfit for the day:

Today was also my first day of my spring break. I spent today shopping and getting lunch with a former co-worker (she's retired). We went to JC Penny first to check out their "best buy" racks. I didn't really need anything, but left with some good buys.

I thought this might be cute with some leggings. It is slightly tight, so more clothes to motivate me to lose.

I was really sucking in my gut for this one. It fits on the top well, but is tight around the stomach and waist.

This dress was only $4! I got a size small since it is a fall/winter piece and I would like to be that size by then.

I thought that my rear was looking pretty good in these jeans!

After that we went to the Dollar Tree (she needed something there) and I found some cute socks and flip flops.

Then we got lunch at a local restaurant on my town square. I got a turkey and bacon wrap off of their healthy menu. It came with cottage cheese which I haven't had for ages.

My friend went on vacation and bought me a cute necklace that is totally me.

After that we looked at a few antique stores. She got some jewelry and I resisted since I really didn't need anything. Later I went to the Dollar General since their yellow dot clothes are now 50% off. Here are some of my finds. Most of them are slightly tight which should be good motivation to lose more weight.

I can technically fit in these cute PJs, but it isn't too pretty right now- more motivation clothes.

Some more slightly tight shorts that will hopefully fit soon for around the house.

Food for the Day

Snack:

I also had the rest of my fruit and walnut salad from breakfast which was just the yogurt and walnuts.

Dinner

I've found that drinking a big glass of water and eating the vegetables first helps me to eat my main part of meal a little more slowly and not want more.
