I am happy today, because my scale said 187.6 which is 0.6 away from where I was at before gaining some weight back. I got to finally put my lbs. button back on my poundpuncher bracelet.
I began this morning on what I thought would be a fun shopping trip to pick up a few things we needed, use a couple of coupons, and check out the big box stores at the next biggest town for deals in the Easter clearance section. My coupon I tried to use at Wal-Mart took forever to process and was such a hassle, but I got a dollar off an item! At Old Navy I wanted to use my super cash for new sunglasses, but it ends up that super cash doesn't work on them. I ended up picking up a pair of capris the next size down (12) with the hopes that I'll be wearing them this summer.
I also had a coupon for Fashion Bug. I ended up finding sunglasses there that I liked much better. They are the only place I found sunglasses that weren't huge and fit my face better. The big ones and the round ones aren't very flattering on my face shape.
After some lunch, I got to work doing odds and ends around the house. Such as replacing a broken picture frame in my collage in my bedroom,
installing a new paper towel dispenser that takes up less counter space and isn't broken,

and testing out some curtain tie backs for my kitchen window. Right now they are just stuck up with 3-M hooks. If I actually use them, I'll find some screws that won't go all the way through the cabinet and install them correctly.

I'm also working on the bedrooms today. I'm putting things back, organizing, dusting, and sweeping all three of them. I'm also doing some laundry again. I don't know if I'll have time for much else tonight, but there is always hope that I can get some more done.

But of course, they are a food group, right? All kidding aside, I found a cute T-shirt that said "Peace, Love, and Peeps" in the Easter clearance section and had to get it. It came with Peeps to eat as well.
