C25K Week Two and My Shins

Today is my start of C25K week two. I started having pain in my shins while running today. I've never been a big fan of jogging/running anyway, so I might end up just walking again if it is a huge continuing problem. I kind of liked the idea of doing something outside and having just a little something to add to it each week, so I'm not giving up on it yet. Here are today's stats:
  • 3,575 aerobic steps
  • 29 minutes
  • 1.5 miles

  • Call Me- Blondie (the rest of the songs were run 90 seconds, walk two minutes)
  • Friday I'm in Love- The Cure
  • Where the River Flows- Collective Soul
  • Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)- the Robert Plant/Alison Krauss version
  • Awful- Hole
  • Baba O'Riley- The Who (five minute cool down)
I spent the rest of my day being productive around the house. I mowed the yard,



hung up the half of the frames I got painted and started on the other half,




and started weeding the flower beds in the front of the house.

You don't think that I let the weeds get a little out of control, right? Well, it is half done now and I'll probably do the other half tomorrow.

I did off and on throughout the day and evening watch TV, but it was probably a good idea to give my legs a break since my shins hurt.

You can see mayo on the sandwich, but I usually scrape it off and just leave enough to get a little taste of it.
