Summer Vacation Part 2: Magic Kingdom

For the next few posts, I'll write about the rides/attractions that I went on at each park (My hubby and father-in-law went out to the extra late hours, so they got on more rides than I did since I didn't go with them. I'm still used to my school schedule of going to bed at 9 to 10.) and the meals I had at the restaurants we visited. I had to use some older pictures as well, so next time I go I need to take some new pictures!

Magic Kingdom

The Rides/Attractions:

The Haunted Mansion (my husband's favorite)

Pirates of the Caribbean (one that everyone likes)
Mickey's Philharmagic (one of my favorites)

I don't have pictures of it, because it is a 3D show. It features songs set to 3D effects from movies such as Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Lion King, Peter Pan, etc.

The Restaurant:

Liberty Tree which is my favorite restaurant in the whole of Disney World. It is colonial American themed and you can get the Pilgrim's Feast which is basically Thanksgiving dinner.

My hubby and I at Liberty Tree a few trips ago, but I'm almost back to the weight I was in this picture!
My hubby and I at Liberty Tree on our honeymoon.

One of my favorite meals of all time- Thanksgiving dinner!

The Recommendations:

It might be the most magical place on earth, but it is super busy and has lots of children during the day. This makes it hard to get on rides without waiting forever. If you can stay up late, do the extra magic late hours and you'll get on tons of rides without the wait.

Although I didn't go on it this time, I do recommend Splash Mountain when it is warm enough to get wet.
