7 Things About Me:
1. I was a radio DJ while at Saint Joseph ’s College. I
did regular format and had my own radio show with one of my best college
friends Amie. The radio show was called Rock of Ages (after the Def Leppard
song) and featured hit songs from two years in classic rock.

2. I was supposed to have a twin brother or sister. My mom told me when I was around 12 or so which helped my world make a lot more sense.

3. I’ve always been really interested in psychology and even minored in it. I’m working on going to graduate school for either mental health counseling or school psychology.

Graduating from the Joe. Hopefully I'll be wearing a similar outfit again in a few years with a master's degree.
4. I’m a little bit of an artist (or at least I used to be, I haven’t done anything in a while). I prefer pencils. I used to enter art projects every year in the fair (4-H fine arts).
I drew this in 8th grade for art class. If you can't tell, the assignment was about textures and I tried to fit as many different ones in there as I could.
5. I’m a Claymate. As in someone who likes Clay Aiken. If you don’t know who he is, he was one of the finalists on season two of American Idol. I don’t listen much to rat pack/crooner type music, but for some reason I like to listen to Clay sing it.
6. I love to read and have read many “big, bad, scary” books that most people don’t want to read. In high school we had to read Atlas Shrugged, and I actually liked it enough to buy a copy and reread it. I also read Les Miserables in high school and am probably the only one who has checked it out. I’ve also read War and Peace which is my husband’s favorite book.
My copy of the book which my husband bought me for Christmas one year. He has his own hardback copy.
7. I met my husband on an online dating site. That was a while ago when
people were first getting into that. I signed up for a free profile just for
fun to see if anyone would respond. I didn’t expect to actually meet anyone,
but I found my husband!

Here is the first picture of us together which was taken probably a couple of months after we first met. For those of you who didn't know me that long ago, yes I was skinny!
