One Week Challenge- Day Six and and Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars

I lost a little bit of weight again. I got three different numbers on the scale, so I'll go with the highest one which was 194.6. That is down 2 pounds since the start of my challenge on Monday. I got to move the lbs. button on my poundpuncher bracelet to 6 (for 26 pounds down).

My poundpuncher bracelet is sitting on Gypsy's head. She is one of the robots from Mystery Science Theater 3000 if you don't know. If you do know, then you're probably a Mistie and have a great sense of humor!
I then went for a jog since it was rainy on Friday and I couldn't go then. Here are the stats:
  • 5,466 aerobic steps
  • 39 minutes
  • 2.26 miles
I actually ran all around bird land (that is the nickname for my little area of town) and had to go past my house and loop around a little bit. That is pretty encouraging for me since when I first started I wasn't even close to getting through my neighborhood.

My plan was to go into work for a little bit this morning, but between the late start, jog, going to my FIL's house to shower, I just said forget it. I caught up on my blogging instead and went grocery shopping. I found a great deal on Crystal Light, so I'm stocked up on that for a LONG time.

I also am going to try a new peanut butter for my PB&J sandwiches.

I found a recipe that I really wanted to try, but they didn't have the Greek yogurt flavor that was listed in the recipe. I instead got strawberry banana to try it with. Here is a link to the original recipe. I don't have a food processor either, so I bought a premade crust with whole wheat flour as the first listed ingredient.

All the stuff you need to make it. You have to let the Cool Whip thaw a bit if it is frozen. The recipe calls for a 16 oz. tub of Chobani, but the only flavors left were vanilla and plain. I just got three small containers which was a little more than what I needed.

Once your Cool Whip is ready, mix 3/4 cup of it with 16 oz. of Chobani Greek Yogurt. Once it is well mixed, put it in the crust and stick it in the freezer. How easy is that? You'll have to scroll down to see a finished picture of this recipe.

Tonight was the night of my ten year high school reunion. I decided not to go. I wrote a long post about this a while ago when the event was being planned and people were being invited. I'm happy with my decision for now and hope that I feel up to going to the 20 year reunion. I instead sat around with my hubby and doggies and watched a Mystery Science Theater 3000 called The Brute Man with a short called The Chicken of Tomorrow.

Another good day as far as the eats go, so here are the pictures:

This isn't the easiest thing to photograph. I'll have to see if I can get a better picture the next time I have a piece.
