End of September Let-Down and Randomness

I really can't believe that I haven't written anything since the 16th of this month. I think that this month has flown by and it hasn't been the easiest one for me. I haven't been following my eating plan and  I've barely worked out. I've been feeling sick off and on for about two weeks. I've also been trying to get everything completed to apply for the program I would like to do for graduate school. The bathroom renovation has taken most of this month and is all done except the cabinet doors for the linen closet. I've had a lot on my plate (in my life and on my physical plate) this month, and I'm glad that it is almost over.

I have some plans swirling around in my brains for next month to get back on track. I feel a new weight loss/exercise challenge coming on for October (now I just need to follow through...). There is another walking challenge starting up at work, so I signed up for that. I will be walking at least 8,000 steps a day in October. I also won a 3 month membership at a gym through work, so I plan on using that once the weather gets chillier.

And for some randomness...

I found a new favorite meal in Perdue 100% white meat chicken nuggets with 100% whole wheat breading with sweet potato fries as a side. Healthy yet feels indulgent.

My hubby turned 30 this week. I've been teasing him about being an "old man" since he is a year older than me.

You can see the "happy" look on his face since I had to have this picture with him. I get my golden birthday this year and next year I get to go through ringer and turn 30 too.

Evidentally the cheeseburger macaroni by Larry the Cable Guy isn't the only food product by Larry the Cable Guy. He must be some sort of corn bread connoisseur as well. And yes, I also found this at the Dollar Tree.

This past week has been College Go Week in Indiana. Teachers are talking about their college experiences with their students, what careers the students want to have when they grow up, and going to college when they grow up. We were allowed to wear college gear throughout the week, and I did. I absolutely love the college I went to and loved my experience there. I wouldn't trade it for anything, and took the chance to promote it a bit. It also happens to be homecoming this weekend, but since I haven't been feeling well I'm not going. :(...

My eyes look a little freaky in this picture...
