My Home Office

I got my home office rearranged and semi-organized after moving all the furniture around in all three bedrooms (one of which is my office). The bedroom that is my office is a bit of an oddity. It is small, has no windows, has a weird closet situation, and has three doors. It is like a pass through bedroom with one door to the hallway and one to the kitchen. The people that lived here before us had an opening into the great room and used it as a dining room which would make the door to the kitchen a good thing. When they went to sell the house, they closed the opening to the great room to turn it back into a bedroom. The third door is to the closet which is technically the closet for the master bedroom. If there wasn't so much crap stuff in our closet, you can walk through it from bedroom to master bedroom. If there is a kid in this room someday, they are out of luck and won't have a closet!

Anyway, enough about the bedroom and here are the pics of my newly arranged office.

The view from the hallway.

As you walk in the room.

My desk area.

My pictures and stuff above my computer desk.

I added a big calendar page under my clear desk protector to keep track of my new schedule of classes and working out for January.

My entertainment area (that is a bench that was in the house, not a TV stand). That is my husband's big, old, heavy TV and his old xBox 360 and the old Wii and a Super Nintendo that I bought him as a back-up. The original Nintendo is mine, but the stand was my brother-in-law's. The black computer is even a hand me down. I'm happy to have all this stuff, but do you see a reoccurring theme here?

Some framed Beatles albums and pics from the Paul concert that are above my entertainment area.

A dresser that I'm using for extra storage. It was my great-grandparent's.

I tried turning this twin bed into a "daybed." It was my old bed that I used throughout much of my childhood. The comforter and back rest are from my college days. The Sketchers backpack on the floor is newer though!

Unless I get to it later tonight, I hope to have a "New Years-ish" type post up tomorrow.
