Week Eleven, Day Seven- Dogs, Hubby, and Cooking

Well, I had hoped to get the whole house cleaned today, but I didn't. I'm okay with that, because I got to do a few fun things. This morning I went shopping for some more dog Halloween costumes. We have three dogs, and I only had one dog last Halloween and one costume. We will also be having my father-in-law's dogs here that night, because he will be out of town. So we will have five dogs in costumes. I bet most of the costumes won't last long. I am hoping to have one dog, Sebastion, in a costume and in my lap the whole time I am handing out candy.

My dogs are feeling as lazy as I am today.

Alligator costume- it's an extra in case some decides to eat the squirrel costume.

This is Sebastion's costume. Yes, he and the other dogs were trying to eat that fuzzy tail while I was trying it on.

Peter's costume- gotta have one of the doxies be a hot dog.

Benjamin's costume- it fits his personality well (although he is beginning to slow down).

Lilly's costume- it is the opposite of her feisty personality, but cute and girly.

Boo's costume- girly for the other girly dog.

I also got some time to just sit and relax with the hubby this afternoon. We have both been busy, stressed out with school and work, and we have both had a turn being sick with this cold going around. It was nice to just have some us time. We even put the dogs in the kitchen, so we were completely alone. I know, our spoiled babies had to fend for themselves for a little bit. ;)

Aren't we just the cutest?

By the way, I'm totally cooking my lunches for the week while blogging. The secret? A Ronko Rotisserie Cooker for the meat and microwavable veggies and rice.

Andrew decided to buy this on a midnight run to Wal-Mart for groceries while we were engaged. He was so excited that he woke me up and showed it off.

 Food:

Breakfast:

This is a recycled picture. I didn't have orange juice, I had a diet coke instead.

Lunch:

This is a recycled picture. I didn't have cookies for lunch, instead I had a yogurt parfait.

Dinner:
  • chicken tenders
  • a piece of toast
  • ice cream
Exercise: Well, I've cleaned the kitchen and mopped the kitchen floor. I've also done some laundry. It was definitely 30 minutes worth of cleaning- probably more.
