Here's something to think about. I used a BMI calculator to figure out my BMI now, at my heaviest, and when I meet my goal(s).
BMI at...
heaviest: 35.51 (obese)
now (198): 31.96 (just barely obese)
highest goal weight (135): 21.79 (normal)
lowest goal weight (120): 19.37 (normal)
I'm already amazed at how much it has decreased, but am still looking at losing another 10 or so points of my BMI.
I just got through rooting through my college gear trying to find something that still fits. I have a large sweatshirt and a large marching band shirt. That is it. I knew I was small back in college, but I must have forgotten how small! I thought for sure I'd at least be able to get a few medium shirts to fit, but they are really tight through the stomach and hips (even though they are men's sizes). The reason for all the digging though clothes in the basement is college go week next week. We teachers are suppost to wear our college gear and discuss college and future career dreams with the students. Now all I have is a mess; but since I am trying to be optimistic today, I will think of it as more motivation to lose weight.

I do have this sweatshirt still, but am no where close to fitting in it.

I thought I might be able to squeeze in this shirt, but it was not so pretty.

I'm wearing another no go shirt in this picture too.
