Week Sixteen, Day Five and Antiquing

This morning I went antiquing with a fellow former co-worker (she's retired). We went to our two usual antique spots down by the square in my town. I wasn't out to buy much today with some bills being due soon, but I did find a 45 I was going to buy.

The Antique Mall we go to and you can also see the old courthouse.

The 45 I got today. It is John Lennon with Jealous Guy.

After antiquing for 2 and 1/2 hours, we went to lunch with another co-worker (who is also retired). It was nice to see her again and get some good food. I miss both of my former co-worker friends when I'm on the job, but I'm glad we still get to do stuff once in a while. And yes, I was good with my food intake although it was a chance to be "bad."

The afternoon was spent at work setting up sound equipment, talking on the phone close to half an hour trying to find children's music from Southeast Asia with background tracks (by the way it is next to impossible), and make new word strips for my music vocab word wall. I came home, ate dinner, and have started to clean house again. I only took a break to write my blog for today. At least I can say I got my exercise in again. Here are some work pictures I haven't put up here yet, but meant to a while ago.

My bulletin board I was slaving over in the few minutes of prep time I had while planning the orchestra trip. It isn't my best work, but it could be done quickly.

A note I got on the back of a rhythmic composition by a third grader.
