Today I got to have some fun with our Singstar party. There were eight of us total and we played in teams of four. My team ended up winning once with the other team winning two times. We played '80's, Pop, and I think Rocks. I was outvoted most of the time, because I guess I'm the only rocker and classic rocker at that, but it was still fun to butcher pop songs I didn't really know. The person hosting the party set up her living room for the event with lights, lasers, a fog machine (that didn't end up working), and mic stands complete with scarves. I'm glad that we are definitely doing this again, because I don't have anyone that lives close to me to play the singing games with me.
We also had some good food. The main dish was Puma wraps. Almost all of us there were St. Joe grads, so it was a nod to the best dish that the cafe served while we were there. To make a Puma wrap you need tortillas, rice, some kind of meat (we did chicken), and a bunch of toppings like tomatoes, cheese, green onions, lettuce, olives, pickles, etc., and most definitely ranch for your sauce. You can make them healthier with whole wheat tortillas, grilled chicken, and light ranch dressing. They were so yummy that I'm considering them for lunches this week.

Sunday was a day of complete laziness. I slept in, ate too much food, and watched too much TV. It was so nice to be able to just relax instead of run around anywhere. I choose not to blog about my lazy day as a nod to my one day of laziness.
