Week Twenty, Day Four and a Long Post

Sorry for the no blogging for a few days. There wasn't really much to say and I was still feeling physically tired, nauseated, and sore. Today is the first day I've felt halfway normal other than some nausea from the antibiotics. I'm taking my last pills tomorrow, so yay!

It has been hard trying to get through the workday feeling this way. To make matters even worse I was evaluated this week too. I wrote my lesson plans while on vicodin which makes me a little loopy. When the principal came in on the class I picked for her to see, the kids were behaving worse than usual. To top that off, I was still really out of it, nauseous, sweating, and pale. Every class that came in was telling me how tired I looked, how sick I looked, and how weird my eyes looked. She also came to observe on a class of her choosing. The class she picked is usually okay for me, but they weren't that day. Their classroom teacher had been gone for three days, and they didn't see me for music at all last week due to me being absent. I was able to get them to settle down for the most part and do some music, but I didn't feel like I got to show off how I usually am with either of the groups she saw. I get my review tomorrow, so I hope it goes okay.

As for the eating healthy and exercising... I've been stuck at the same weight (195-198.5) for a long time. I was hoping to be around 185-190 by now, and I've had plenty of time to make this goal. I was healthy for all of October, but lacked the motivation. Now I have more motivation, but my body hasn't been feeling normal. I will have to at least reschedule (or cancel) my mani/pedi, because I'm giving a music lesson that night. If I can still get my "sale" price, I'll see if I can push it back to sometime in December to give myself more time to get to 190 (or pretty close). If not, I still have other ideas for rewards.

Since I will be done with the antibiotics tomorrow, I think I'll make myself some new goals for next week to get myself back on track. I'll try to get a jump start on them this weekend as well. The obvious goal is to get back to my eating plan as outlined on my "Food" page on this website. That means a whole lot less of bread and waffles and a whole lot more protein and veggies. I also need to start doing anything to move more. I do have a few things I can do around the house this weekend. I think it is that time of year where I'll need to switch over to working out inside with videos or video games. I have both the Kinect and Wii Fit, so I have plenty of choices. The Wii Fit has been in the back of my mind for a while, so I might have to try that first, but I have no excuse to get bored with both systems and games.

Here's a few pictures from since I lasted blogged...

A fun shirt I found this weekend. It is a juniors and it still fits well enough that I will be wearing this weekend.

I love Eeyore, so I couldn't pass it it up. My other Eeyore hoodie is slightly big and has a spot on it.

I found a Beavis and Butthead PJ set for less than $18. It isn't the bargain of the year, but I thought that they were cool.

This is a close up of the pants.
This is the dinner my hubby cooked for me tonight. I'm so happy that there are leftovers for tomorrow.

This is what I have been surviving on for a while. My favorite sugar free syrups are Mrs. Buttersworth and Hungry Jack. I've tried a few other brands, but they have been watery and taste awful. These two brands are thicker and sweeter.
