Week Twenty-One, Day Four and Thanksgiving

I don't know how many people can identify with this, but Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It might have to do with my birthday being close to it as well. Growing up, I was excited for Thanksgiving because I could see my family, eat really tasty homemade food, and often times my sister and I would get a birthday cake as well. My favorite meal at Disney World is the Pilgrim's feast from the Liberty Tree Inn. It has turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and green beans. Yum!

Here's picture of my hubby and me at Liberty Tree a few years ago.

Of course, as you get older, you realize that Thanksgiving is also important, because it gives you a time to stop and reflect upon all that there is to be grateful for such as God, family,

My hubby and me.

I wish a had a more recent picture than this of all of us, but I don't. It goes (from left to right) my mom, me, my dad, and my sister.

This is a picture of me with my aunts. They have both done so much for me, so I wanted to mention them as well.

friends,

An old picture, but a fun one of some of my college friends.
A few high school friends.

pets,

a roof to live under,

a good job,

 food on your plate everyday,

 losing 25 pounds, etc.

Look, you can see I have curves again and not just fat lumps!

I try to spend a few minutes a day reflecting on things I'm thankful for, but it doesn't always happen. So today is a great day to make sure to spend a few extra minutes on those thoughts.
