Week Twenty-Five and Christmas Day

Christmas Day is usually one of the best days of the year for several reasons, but I couldn't enjoy myself completely yesterday due to stomach pains. I thought that I just ate too much and only one real meal on Saturday, and that is what caused the pains. I must have a bug or something, because I had stomach pains all day on Sunday. I barely ate anything and kept in bland. I never actually got sick, but just felt nauseous all day.

I spent a couple hours cleaning the kitchen and around the house in the morning before my husband cooked and my father-in-law came over. My husband made an amazing meal, but like I said before, I just couldn't enjoy it. I must have been pretty mad that I couldn't enjoy it, because I forgot to take pictures. He made a turkey breast, asparagus, stuffing, wild rice, gravy, onions, and homemade wheat bread. I had a few bites of turkey, some stuffing, and some bread.

After the meal we opened presents. The dogs made out good with their presents...

My husband got me a Nintendo 3DS, Nintendogs (the one with doxies of course), some accessories for the DS, a gift card to purchase games online, and some stocking stuffers.

My husband said my stocking looked empty, so he decided to put the roll of toilet paper and the cup at the bottom of my stocking to make it look fuller.

I love the finish of the 3DS. It looks like it has flecks of glitter like a fancy paint finish on a car.

My husband and father-in-law also got some nice presents.

The rest of the evening was spent watching movies together. We watched some Indiana Jones movies and Auntie Mame.
