Black and White Stripes and Some Motivation

Yay for the scale moving down a bit for this Monday's weigh-in! There isn't too terribly much to say about today other than the fact that I met all of my goals for the day. My junk food snack was exactly 200 calories, so I'm hoping that will help with the weight loss if I can keep it up this week.

I wore a cute outfit to work today. I wore black dress pants and a black long sleeve shirt with a long sleeve black and white drapey sweater. I don't know what it is lately with me, but I've been loving black and white or black and grey color combination and it usually involves stripes in some way.

I also had to wear my striped peace sign earrings with the outfit.

It looks like a have a lump or something towards the top of my ear, but that is my cartilage piercing. During the school year I usually wear a gold, fake diamond stud to keep it simple. I have a love for earrings and would love to get another cartilage piercing sometime...

After work I had a yearly physical exam with the lady parts doctor. Only there to get refills on my meds, but insurance does cover the physical 100% which is nice. Every year I tell myself to go the bathroom before going in. And I did this year and drove the 30 minutes there. I didn't feel the need to go the bathroom until I was already in the exam room waiting for the doctor. Nothing like being poked, prodded, and pushed on with a full bladder. Ugg.

It was after 5:00 before I got home, but for some reason today I'm quite motivated. I was going to stop at McDonald's and get a grilled chicken snack wrap or sandwich, but it didn't sound all that great. I went out of my way to get Subway on the way home (minus the cookies). After eating Subway, I did 30 minutes of Wii Fit. I finished just in time to see House. The previews for next week look intriguing.

Well, it is off to get ready for work tomorrow. Here's what I ate for the day:

Lunch:

The chicken and rice is a rosemary chicken recipe from my WW cookbook. I'm also trying a new flavor of Chobani every day with lunch. I had black cherry today (this is my standard picture for this meal- kinda silly to take a new picture of yogurt everyday).

Snack:

I had two packages (200 calories) as my junk food snack today.

Dinner:

I had apples instead of chips today.
Exercise: stretches and Wii Fit
