What a Wednesday

Ah, what a Wednesday... Wednesdays are sometimes tough days in and of themselves, let alone when you find out a bunch of things are going wrong. The emotions have been running high and in many different directions today. I'm not one to divulge information about things that involve others unless it would be okay with them. Just know that I have a family member who is seriously ill and could use some prayers. There are a few other family members also having a hard time (and could use a few prayers as well), so I feel a little lousy that the only thing wrong with me right now is trying to catch up on everything I need to get done at work. And I have a sore throat and red eyes, so I better not be getting sick! 

The one thing that I am proud of today is pushing through it all and trying my best to stick to the food plan and exercise. I wasn't really into eating, but have only skipped a snack so far. I've also manged to muddle my way through a workout. I made it just 30 minutes today and didn't get the greatest scores on my games, but I did it and burned those calories. I would have used this as an excuse in the past to eat, eat, eat anything and definitely not even think about moving at all. I'm glad to see these goals I've been working on finally become habits which are leading to a new way of life for me.
