One positive thing I can say about this summer is that I'm still doing well on my C25K training program. This is week six which means I'm doing three 25 minute JOGS and not wogs! Here are Monday's stats:
- 5,240 aerobic steps
- 39 minutes
- 2.2 miles
- Within You Without You by the Beatles (warm-up)
- Mony Mony the Billy Idol version
- Rock Lobster by The B-52's
- Give Peace a Chance by John Lennon
- Touch and Go by The Cars
- Swim by Bush
- Alive by Pearl Jam (cool-down)
After that I went to Wally World and Hobby Lobby to pick up a few things for projects for my classroom. Nothing exciting, just some tension rods for the valences, some dry erase markers, some peace sign stickers, peace sign velum, etc.
The rest of the day was spent at home doing some sanding on the bathroom walls and watering my garden. I finally have some veggies growing which is a nice sight in the midst of the lack of rain and excess of heat.
