Week Two, Day Three

I have found some other small things to help motivate me at the beginning of this weight loss journey. I bought a poundpuncher bracelet, so I have a reminder on my wrist at all times that I am working on a weight loss goal and how far along I am. It has the numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 on it with a hole behind each number. There is a little circle that says "lbs." that you put behind each number as you lose that much amount of weight. When you get to ten then you can start over again. If you are interested (or someone you know) in one, here is the website: www. poundpuncher.com. Here is a picture of the bracelet:

Another small reward for meeting some small goals are some Weird Al C.D.s I got today for cheap. I found two of them. When I get to 206, then I will open one and put it on my iPod. When I get to 203, then I will open the second one. When I get to 199-200, then I get my first bigger reward of the internet on my own computer.

Food:

Breakfast:
  • english muffin
  • eggs
  • cheese
  • sprite zero
Midmorning snack:
  • 90 calorie brownie (not as bad as I thought)
Lunch:
  • grilled chicken
  • green beans
  • mashed potatoes
  • 2 popsicles (40 cals total)
  • crystal light
Midafternoon snack:
  • 90 calorie brownie (again!)
Dinner:
  • chicken nuggets
  • honey mustard
Exercise:  I laid down landscaping fabric and moved lots of rocks again. I also did my stretches once and went on a bike ride with the hubby. Here are some pics from my workouts today.

Here is a pic of my bike. It is retro style, was cheap from Wally World, and is just one speed.  All which I like about it. :)

Here is a section of the side yard where I have been weeding and moving rock to that is pretty much done.

Here is a section that is close to done.

  1. I really like the poundpuncher bracelet! Good luck with your weight loss journey! I want you to know that I'm here, someone is reading this. I wish it were easier to get over the mindset that once we make a mistake that we've failed completely. That mentality is the hardest thing to overcome. Always remember to just keep going! Even when the scale doesn't move as much as we hope it will, don't give up! You can do this. I love you and wish you nothing but the best! -Heidi
