Week Two, Days One and Two
Well, I hate to admit it, but I kinda fell off the wagon for a day. Monday I ate too much and too many simple carbs. It was just one of those days where things just didn't go as planned, and I made bad food choices because of it. I'm trying to get back on it today. I'm such a perfectionist and it is often all or nothing for me. I really wish I could get myself out of this mentality. The good news is that I've been getting plenty of exercise in, so I haven't gained a ton of weight. I think I also got frustrated at myself because the scale wasn't moving much either. Along with that TOM, I let it be an excuse to be lax on what I ate. Well, being honest is what this blog is for, so here's what I ate and didn't admit yesterday.
Food for Monday:
Breakfast:
- eggs
- pancakes
- hash browns
- biscuit
Lunch:
- leftovers from Sunday- turkey, baked potato, stuffing
Snacks:
- cheddar crackers
- sugar free jello
- a couple of chocolate chip cookies
Dinner:
- Veggie burger (on a white bread bun)
- a few fries
- cole slaw
Exercise: Bike ride and lots and lots of weeding
Food for Tuesday:
Breakfast:
- eggs
- pancakes
- hash browns
- biscuit
Lunch:
- grilled chicken
- mashed potatoes with no gravy
- green beans
Dinner snack:
Exercise: Laying down landscaping fabric and moving lots of rocks. I also did my stretches at night.
