The title of the blog post comes from a John Lennon song. It has been "one of those days."
This morning was even rough. When I was eating breakfast, I spilled my water all over my husband's computer desk. He had books and papers all over the place, but luckily I didn't ruin anything important.
Well another rough day to add to this week. Not really my food choices, but just life in general. The kids were horribly behaved yesterday and today. I gave out 1 classroom treasure ticket (reward for for classes where most of the kids are good most of the time) today and I saw 10 classes! That is pretty low for me. There was the usual talking out of turn (a lot), goofing off at inappropriate times, bothering other kids, making fun of other kids, complaining about what I am covering in music class, and the topping on the cake is a kindergartners today. I love kindergarten and they are usually my favorite. One of the classes had boys refusing to go to the corner as their punishment, taking things that are mine and not giving them back to me, hitting my objects around the room, etc. I tried to stay positive by listening to John Lennon songs when I cleaned up my room today. They always calm me down. It kinda worked today, but not as well as it usually does.
I'm glad that the X Factor is on tonight. I just want to sit and chill. Also, my husband is at a conference and should be back any time now to maybe a couple of hours from now. He called me earlier and said he had good news to share. I'm really excited and want to know the news right now.

Dinner: chicken tenders with honey mustard and a vanilla ice cream cone
Exercise: I did some dishes and mopped the kitchen floor. Probably not a half an hours worth of work, but I'm tired.
