Snacking...

Sorry for the no post yesterday, but I must have really needed some extra sleep. I fell asleep a little after 6:00 pm yesterday. I woke up around 7:30 (really had to push myself) and forced myself to take a shower, get my clothes steamed, and pack my lunch for work before going to bed for real.

Today was a better day of meeting my goals. I've been doing some extra chores around the house to make up for my lack of workout yesterday.

My mess of a sock drawer bothered me, so here it is neatly organized again.












I've also done my Wii Fit routine, taken my vitamin, did my stretches, and cooked a healthy breakfast. The one kinda grey area is the snacking...

I am proud of myself for two reasons in the snacking area today. First, I only ate healthy snacks at work. I did not dive into my rice crispy treats! Yay! I instead ate a few hard peppermint candies when I was struggling and it got me through.
Just the peppermint- not the hot cocoa.

The second one doesn't sound like a victory, but it is to me. I had to stop my Meijer for something after work really quickly. While I was in there I thought I'd get my "junk food" snack for the day. I really wanted their bakery M&M chocolate chip cookies. The smallest package you can get is a 12 pack. Before I would have eaten all the cookies on the drive home. Instead I just had four. I also gave into one more cookie after dinner which is technically snacking twice on "junk food." Although I'm showing much better self control, I think I might just throw out the other cookies to be safe.

Way addicting. Don't buy the M&M cookies from Meijer's bakery.
