The Weekend

Saturday started with getting my C25K week three, day three training in before it got too hot outside. Here are Saturday's stats:
  • 3,098 aerobic steps
  • 24 minutes
  • 1.53 miles
They aren't the greatest stats, but it was still pretty darn hot out on Saturday morning and I'm just happy that I got out there and did it anyway.

When I got done with my wog, I took a shower and treated myself to some pampering/extra grooming such as a face mask, a nose strip, foot scrub, eyebrow plucking, and nail clipping.

Wearing some socks until I'm sure that the lotion has absorbed into my skin after my foot scrub. Otherwise I would just have dog hair stuck to the bottom of my lotion-y feet.

Face mask

A nose strip to help clear out those big ol' pores of mine!
I spent a few hours on Saturday doing some shopping. I didn't need much, but it felt good to be out and walk around. I also managed to get a short walk in with Sebastion and Lilly. We met up with an older lady down the road who was also taking her dog out. Sebastion was a little barky and Lilly was so scared she was shaking.

Lilly is on the left and Sebastion is on the right.

Sunday I didn't do too much either. I watched some TV, went to return some items from Saturday that didn't work out, and finally got a little bit done in the evening. I finally got to attaching my basket to my bike. I had to test it out, so I threw my purse in it and went for a ride around the neighborhood. It is funny how when I wog I can't get up and down every street yet in half an hour, but it only took me 17 minutes on my bike to do one complete lap.

When I got done with my bike ride, I found my husband working on his raspberry patch. He was digging up grass and asked me to help him carry bricks over to him to use as a border around the garden.

It was so nice outside that I didn't want to go back in just yet, so I spray painted some pieces for my shelf in the great room,

put up a new garden flag I got on clearnace at Petsmart,

You can tell I only weeded partway on this side of the house if you look behind the flag!

and finally assembled a soloar light/hanging plant stand that I got on clearance last fall.

Got to plant the marigolds in them yet and do some more weeding in this flower bed...
