My 50/50 Wednesday

Wednesday was a 50/50 kind of day. I started out really strong with an Egg McMuffin and banana for breakfast.

Just pretend you see a banana instead of apples and grapes.

After breakfast I went for a jog and here are the stats:
  • 5,111 aerobic steps
  • 37 minutes
  • 2.16 miles
I actually almost ended up perfectly at my house with this jog. I only was six houses away from mine. I can't believe I'm almost doing a complete loop around my little neighborhood.

After the jog I went to return some items at a couple of stores. I got a snack while I was out and thought I was still doing good.


On my way home I decided to stop by Walgreens. I had that Snickers peanut butter squares candy bar and just couldn't stop myself at one. So I wanted another one and made the poor decision to get it. Then while I was in Walgreens I got a box of macaroni and cheese along with a bag of snack size Snickers peanut butter squares. I thought I'd have a little bit of mac and cheese as a side to a healthy PB&J (yes this is healthy with 100% whole grain bread, Smart Balance peanut butter, and sugar free strawberry preserves). I also got some 100% whole grain tortillas and some shredded cheese to try an egg wrap for breakfast tomorrow.

I went home and got to some sanding of the bathroom walls again...

Yes, this again! Prep work takes more time than the actual project itself.
Then took a break to make my mac and cheese for lunch. My plans got derailed there though because I decided to just have a bunch of mac and cheese for lunch. Like 1/2 a box worth and some more Snickers squares.

I spent the rest of the afternoon being productive and sanding the walls off and on with breaks to do some dishes, laundry, and of course rest. I ended up eating the rest of the mac and cheese and candy throughout the afternoon. I did redeem myself with a healthy dinner though.


Here is to a new day tomorrow and a fresh start.
